One of professional surfing's most recognizable faces, Western Australian Taj Burrow is one of the few surfers who has been considered an ASP World Title threat since his rookie year on the elite ASP World Tour in 1998.

Hailing from the powerful reefs and playful beaches of Yallingup in Western Australia, Burrow rose to international prominence through his visual assault in the surfing world via profile videos like 'Sabotaj', 'Montaj' and 'Fair Bits'. Arguably the most technical aerialist in the game, Burrow's natural abilities extend beyond the airspace as the progressive natural-footer can tear into anything from two-to-20 feet. Burrow has collected six event victories during his tenure on the elite ASP World Tour, but the elusive ASP World Title has so far evaded him.

Today, Burrow is considered one of the most advanced surfers in the sport. He continues to take it to the next level with his innovative technique and determination. After finishing runner-up in the world on three separate occasions, Burrow is hungry for the ASP World Title and you can bet that the high-flying man will put in a huge effort in 2009.
