Billabong ASP World Junior Championships Back ON, Champs Crowned by Day's End
NORTH NARRABEEN, New South Wales/Australia (Saturday, January 16, 2010) – The Billabong ASP World Junior Championships fueled by Monster Energy are back ON today and the ASP World Junior Champions will be crowned by day’s end.
Small, glassy one-to-two foot (0.5 metre) waves are on offer at North Narrabeen this morning, prompting event organizers to call the men’s Quarterfinals on with the women’s Semifinals on standby.
First up this morning will be Gabriel Medina (BRA), 16, up against Clay Marzo (HAW), 20, in Quarterfinal 1.
