ASP WQS 5-Star Volcom Pipeline Pro Kicks Off Saturday
PIPELINE, Oahu/Hawaii (Thursday, January 21, 2010) Pipeline is the Mecca of the surfing world, and it is at this legendary location that Volcom is proud to announce Volcom’s first ever ASP event: The Volcom Pipeline Pro, an ASP WQS 5-star event running with a waiting period from January 23rd – February 5th, 2010.
With the waiting period kicking off this week, you won’t want to miss a second of the event, available to view LIVE worldwide. Along with our free high quality live-streaming web, the entire Volcom Pipeline Pro will be broad throughout the state of Hawai’i on Oceanic Time Warner Cable channel 250. The final will also be televised on Fuel TV throughout the United States, Australia and Portugal.
The Volcom Pipeline Pro website will also have a daily video and photo blog each day of the waiting period, along with a live streaming HD Pipe cam courtesy of Surfline.com. You’ll also be able to watch recaps of every heat with our heats on demand video feature, as well as be able to buy official Volcom Pipeline Pro Merch from our online store.
