Dusty Payne In-Depth Interview by Surfline
HUNTINGTON BEACH, California (Saturday, February 27, 2010) – Dusty Payne (HAW), 21, is one of the biggest additions to the 2010 ASP World Tour field. The progressive Hawaiian has vaulted himself onto the international stage the past two seasons with big contest results and dynamic video segments, and yesterday took out his first heat as an ASP Dream Tour rookie in Round 1 at the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast. However, there is a lot that lies beneath the surface for this electric Hawaiian phenom. In a recent interview with Surfline, Dusty opens up about being diagnosed as a Type I Diabetic, his charitable donations, his rookie season on the ASP World Tour and much more.
