Roxy Pro Gold Coast to Finish Today, Semifinals Start at 8:30am
SNAPPER ROCKS, Queensland/Australia (Saturday, March 6, 2010) – The Roxy Pro Gold Coast, the opening event of the 2010 ASP ’World Tour season, is set to finish this morning, with the Semifinals heading out into the two-to-three foot (1 metre) righthanders of Snapper Rocks this morning at 8:30am.
“We are fortunate enough to have swell on offer this morning and we’ll be commencing with the Semifinals at 8:30am,” Rod Brooks, Roxy Pro Contest Director, said. “We’ll be going immediately into the Finals after that and will look to crown a champion by mid-morning.”
Up first this morning will be current ASP Women’s World No. 3 Coco Ho (HAW), 19, up against reigning three-time ASP Women’s World Champion Stephanie Gilmore (AUS), 22, in Semifinal 1.
