Taj Burrow: No. 1 with a Bullet by ASL Magazine

Comments March 26, 2010 |

BURLEIGH HEADS, Queensland/Australia (Friday, March 26, 2010) – Taj Burrow (AUS), 31, has been nigh unstoppable lately. A win at the Billabong Pipeline Masters in December, a win at the ASP 4-Star Burleigh Breaka Pro in February, a win at the Quiksilver Pro Gold Coast earlier this month and a Runner-Up at the ASP PRIME Drug Aware Pro at Margaret River. A track record like that is damn near terrifying, and Australia’s Surfing Life (ASL) Magazine caught up with the current ASP World No. 1 to see what in the world is going on. This…is their story…

I’m not worrying about points or ratings and all of a sudden I feel like I’m in a really awesome place.

Everyone’s been focusing on your trophies but we’ve been impressed with your boards.
Yeah they’ve been going so well. All the guys at Firewire are really keen to experiment and usually I kinda say, Ah, I don’t have the time, can you just keep…
