ASL: What’s been happening in the world of Sally Fitzgibbons?
Sally Fitz: For the last few weeks I’ve been in Peru. We had a contest on there and Red Bull also organized a little camp for their female riders. It was similar to Project Air (which was held in Lennox Head), but we were doing some modeling type work as well. It was pretty different to the standard surf camp idea.
How so?
I guess at Project Air we really concentrated on airs, but this was more about nutrition and recovery. Shane Beschen and Dan Ross were both there so we did some surf training but also focused on different areas. And we had the modeling shoot.
How did you find Peru?
