We Love Underdogs: an Adam Melling Story by STAB
SYDNEY, New South Wales/Australia (Wednesday, July 21, 2010) – Adam Melling (AUS), 25, 2010 ASP World Tour rookie, just finished off the event of his life, navigating past a minefield of talent to come up just short of Jordy Smith (ZAF), 22, in the Final. His Runner-Up finish rockets him from 41st to 19th on the ASP World Title Race rankings and well within the mid-year cutoff. STAB Magazine caught up with Melling as he touched back down on Australian soil. This…is their story…
Stab: Welcome. When did you arrive back?
Adam: …Last night, got back to the Goldy yesterday arvo and then drove down to Lennox Heads and got here last night.

Would you rather be famous, like now, or an unknown?
I don’t know…a bit of both. Everybody is…
