Perth Standlick Claims ASP Grade-2 Oakley Pro Junior Japan
TSURIGASAKI BEACH, Chiba/Japan (Saturday, August 7, 2010) – The athletes were called to action for final day for Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Grade-1 at Tsurigasaki Beach in Chiba.The local weather was fine again today with light offshore breeze fanning one-to-three foot (1 metre) waves, creating excellent clean conditions for final day.
Arashi Kato, Takumi Nakamura, Kaishu Tanaka and Perth Standick (AUS) were the four finalists with Standick claiming victory by 14.10 points above Kato in 2nd with 10.25.
Next stop on 2010 ASP Japan Tour is SHONAN SUPER KIDS CHALLENGE support by ASAHI DRINK to be held Aug.13th(Fri) and Aug. 14th(Sat) at Hiratsuka-shi in Kanagawa-ken.
