LES BOURDAINES, Seignosse/France (Wednesday, September 29, 2010) – After assessing conditions at Estagnot and Les Bourdaines, event organizers called the Quiksilver Pro France off again at 2:30pm today, citing small conditions and inconsistency.
Event No. 7 of 10 on the 2010 ASP World Tour, the Quiksilver Pro France enjoyed dramatic conditions for Round 1 of competition before halting Round 2 after three heats due to inconsistency.
“We’ve taken most of the day assessing conditions at various spots and decided that we should call competition off for the day,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’ll be back tomorrow morning at 7:45am to check conditions at Les Bourdaines.”
Event organizers will reconvene at 7:45am tomorrow morning at Les Bourdaines to assess conditions for a possible start.
When competition resumes, up first will be Damien Hobgood (USA), 21, up against Travis Logie (ZAF), 31.
