Quiksilver Pro France Round 5 ON in Pumping Culs Nus Beach
C.J. Hobgood (USA), 31, former ASP World Champion and current ASP World No. 11, will face Tom Whitaker (AUS), 30, in Heat 10 of Round 3 at the Quiksilver Pro France.
CULS NUS BEACH, Hossegor/France (Friday, October 1, 2010) – The Quiksilver Pro France is back on today, with Round 3 commencing at 8am in solid four-to-six foot (2 metre) waves at Culs Nus Beach.
Event No. 7 of 10 on the 2010 ASP World Tour, the Quiksilver Pro France is anticipating a mammoth day of competition, aiming to utilize today’s premiere conditions to complete Rounds 3, 4 and 5.
“We have good conditions this morning and will commence competition at 8am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “As today looks like it will be the best day of the remainder of the waiting period, we’ll run as much as possible today, potentially setting up a finish for tomorrow.”
Up first this morning will be Taj Burrow (AUS), 32, up against Daniel Ross (AUS), 27, in the opening heat of Round 3.
