Round 2 Women’s Action is On at Oakley ASP World Pro Junior

CANGGU, Bali/Indonesia (Monday, October 4 2010) - The action at the Oakley ASP World Pro Junior, stop no.1 on the ASP World Junior Tour (WJT), continues with Round 2 of the Pro Junior women’s division commencing at 6.30 at Canggu in clean 3-4ft (1-metre) waves.

With excellent conditions on offer, Contest Director, Beau Emerton, has also opted to place Round 3 of the women’s as well as the remaining men’s Round 2 heats on standby.

“It’s going to be another big day of surfing,” he said.

“We’re expecting good conditions all day with a favourable swell and light winds. It’s going to be exciting.”

Up first were Bianca Buitendag (ZAF), Nao Omura (JPN) and Minato Takahashi (JPN). In heat two, Chantelle Rautenbach (ZAF) will take on Leila Hurst (HAW) and Camila Cassia (BRA).
