Final Day Rip Curl Pro ON at Supertubos, Champion Crowned Today
Patrick Gudauskas (USA), 24, 2010 ASP Dream Tour rookie, will take on Jadson Andre (BRA), 20, in Round 5 of the Rip Curl Pro Portugal.
SUPERTUBOS, Peniche/Portugal (Thursday, October 14, 2010) – The final day of the Rip Curl Pro Portugal, Event No. 8 of 10 on the 2010 ASP World Tour, has been called ON, with Round 5 commencing at 8:45am in three-to-five foot (1.5 metre) barrels at the primary site of Supertubos.
“We have good-looking conditions this morning and we’ll be starting at 8:45am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Media Manager, said. “today will be the best day remaining in the waiting period so we’ll be running straight through the Finals by day’s end.”
Up first this morning will be Michel Bourez (PYF), 24, up against Chris Davidson (AUS), 33, in Heat 1 of Round 5.
