Event No. 9 of 10 on the 2010 ASP World Tour, the Rip Curl Pro Search Puerto Rico could potentially finish today with the battle for the 2010 ASP World Title reaching a fever pitch between Kelly Slater (USA), 38, and Jordy Smith (ZAF), 22.
“The tide is resetting itself and we’re planning on commencing competition at 10:30am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We’ll monitor conditions throughout the morning with the potential to finish and crown a champion by day’s end.”
Up first this morning will be Taj Burrow (AUS), 32, up against Taylor Knox (USA), 39, in the opening heat of Round 5.
