QUEENSLAND, Australia (Thursday, February 11, 2011) – With this year’s weather patterns sending mammoth sized cyclones that have left many Queensland natives in absolutely devastating circumstances due to terrible floods, the entire surfing world recognizes the necessity to lend a hand to the citizens of the affected beach communities. Up for auction will be surfboards from two-time ASP World Champion Mick Fanning (AUS), 29, reigning four-time ASP Women’s World Champion Stephanie Gilmore (AUS), 22, and Taj Burrow (AUS), 32, as well as heaps of additional items, with all of the proceeds going out to the Queensland Flood victims.
