This morning’s release:
Round 3 of the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay has been called on this morning with the first heat commencing at 8am in clean three-to-four foot (1 metre) waves steaming through the pointbreak.

Event No. 4 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, the Billabong Pro Jeffreys Bay plays a pivotal role in the hunt for the 2011 ASP World Title as well as the requalification campaigns of the world’s best surfers.

“We have another day of clean conditions and we’ll be kicking off competition at 8am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We intend to run all 12 heats of Round 3 and move into Round 4, but will monitor conditions throughout the day to ensure the competitors enjoy the very best surf on offer. Good luck to everyone today.”
