Kelly Slater (Coco Beach, Florida, USA) (pictured) won the final over Yadin Nicol (Margaret River, WA, AUS) at The Nike US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California, USA today. Slaterâs top two wave scores were an 8.50 and a 7.77 totaling a heat score of 16.27. Nicol struggled posting a 1.80 and a 0.77 totaling a heat score of 2.57. This ASP Prime Event win will move Slater into number one on the spot on the ASP World Ranking.
