Lay-Day Called At Oakley World Pro Junior Bali

[ 1 ] October 8, 2011 |

CANGGU, Bali/Indonesia (Saturday, 8 October, 2011) – The Oakley World Pro Junior Bali has called a lay-day today due to strong onshore winds.

“The wind is up and conditions are pretty bad today,” Contest Director Beau Emerton said. “We’re expecting better surf tomorrow. We had a big day of competition yesterday so now we have some time up our sleeve and we can wait for the best conditions.”

A call will be made at 7am tomorrow at Canggu for a possible 7:30 start to Men’s Round 4 or Women’s Round 3.

The Oakley World Pro Junior Bali will run from October 3 – 14. Watch the LIVE webcast at www.oakleyprojunior.com
