Final Day of Arnette ASP World Junior is LIVE
Davey Cathels (AUS), current leader on the ASP World Junior Tour, will surf in the Quarterfinals of Arnette ASP World Junior competition.
PRAIA DO DIABO, Rio De Janeiro/Brazil (Wednesday, November 2, 2011) – The final day of the Arnette ASP World Junior presented by Quiksilver is ON this morning on peaky one-to-two foot (.5 metre) waves and will begin with the Quarterfinals and eventually crown a champion by day’s end.
Stop No. 2 of 3 on the ASP World Junior Tour, the Arnette ASP World Junior presented by Quiksilver saw Leila Hurst (HAW) clinch the women’s event and has waited until the final day of the waiting period to finish the men’s competition in hopes of capitalizing on the best conditions.
Up first this morning will be Frederico Morais (PRT) vs. Filipe Toledo (BRA) in Quarterfinal No. 1.
