Volcom Fiji Pro Called ON at Cloudbreak
C.J. Hobgood (USA), 32, one of the ASP Top 34 chargers from the other afternoon, will take on Owen Wright (AUS), 22, in Round 5 of the Volcom Fiji Pro.
CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Sunday, June 10, 2012) – The Volcom Fiji Pro, Event No. 4 of 10 on the 2012 ASP World Championship Tour, has been called back on this afternoon with Round 5 commencing at 12:15pm in four-to-six-foot (1.5 – 2 metre) plus surf at Cloudbreak.
“The tide and wind has cooperated with us this afternoon and we’ll be commencing Round 5 of competition at 12:15pm,” Matt Wilson, Volcom Fiji Pro Event Director, said. “We’re planning on running Round 5 and the Quarterfinals today which should set us up for a possible finish tomorrow. Good luck to all our competitors today.”
Up first this afternoon will be Damien Hobgood (USA), 32, up against Mick Fanning (AUS), 30, in the opening heat of Round 5.
