Kelly did not deserve to win either of his 2 heats. Ratboy went to town on his first wave and got scored lower than Kelly’s waves??? Medina gets a 9something for his air and then Dusty gets an 8.5 something for an air that looked as good as Gabby’s. ASP trying to keep the world title alive till hawaii, you decide!!???!!

You can gaurantee, if the roles where reversed in slater vs dusty, kelly definately would of been given the score! it’s good to see the title head to pipe, but dusty slatered slater! kelly fans can say what they want, but once again, he got lucky!

2 air reverses win a heat??? WTF TKnox was the better surfer for sure, so sick of Medina and his claims someone give him a clip under the ear tell him to wake up to himself

Pro surfing is going down the drain when someone can go left at a right point break do one air (it was incredible but) and win the heat. Each break should be judged on its potential and the best type of surfing for that particular break. I know most may disagree but I feel that Taylor won his heat and surfed the right point break a hell of a lot better than Medina. If this continues, soon we’ll have Medina going left at Snapper, left at Bells, Left at J-Bay. He’s a great surfer but I just think the old air reverse is getting boring unless it’s after you’ve belted a few turns before or after it. Just my opinion.
