Roxy Pro Gold Coast Called ON for Rounds 2, 3 and 4 – 8:30am Start

Malia Manuel (HAW) will take on fellow Hawaiian Alana Blanchard (HAW) in Round 2 of the Roxy Pro Gold Coast.

RAINBOW BAY, Queensland/Australia (Monday, March 4, 2013) – The Roxy Pro Gold Coast presented by Land Rover, the opening stop on the 2013 ASP Women’s World Championship Tour (WCT), will recommence this morning at 8:30am for Rounds 2, 3 and 4.

“Good conditions again today and we’ll be recommencing women’s competition at 8:30am,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, said. “We plan on running through three rounds of women’s surfing today and will once again be utilizing the Little Marley-to-Greenmount section of the Superbank. Good luck to all our competitors today.”

Up first this morning will be Paige Hareb (NZL), 22, up against Bianca Buitendag (ZAF), 19, in the opening heat of the elimination Round 2.
