CLOUDBREAK, Tavarua/Fiji (Saturday, June 8, 2013) – After monitoring conditions at Cloudbreak throughout the morning, event officials at the Volcom Fiji Pro have called called competition off for today.
Stop No. 4 of 10 on the ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), the Volcom Fiji Pro has enjoyed flawless conditions at both Cloudbreak and Restaurants and the current forecast is showing signs of more excellent surf to come.
“We spent some time watching Cloudbreak this morning, but conditions were not consistent enough to call the event back on,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge said. “Conditions look really good for the coming days so we’ll be patient and wait for better waves to restart competition.”
