ASP World Tour rookie John Florence of Oahu, Hawaii (pictured) posted a fantastic round 2 victory during the Hurley Pro Trestles to advance into round three on Monday September 19, 2011.Florence netted one of the highest heat totals of the day, a 17.53 (out of 20.00) which included a pair of excellent 8.93 and 8.60 rides to eliminate Alejo Muniz (BRA) from the competition.
